City Services come with a few stipulations.

Fees

Lobelville City Hall coordinates water, sewer, and gas utilities. As noted below, tap fees apply to new service. All monthly bills are due by the 20th of each month without penalty. If not paid by the 5th of the following month, service will be shut off, and a reconnect fee will apply. Alternatively, you can pay the past-due and current bills to restore service.

Call City Hall at 931-593-2285 if you have any questions or wish to speak with someone.

Natural Gas Lines

Customers are responsible for maintaining all natural gas lines extending after the meter to and within the home or business. Even if the natural gas service lines from the meter to your home or business are buried, maintenance is still required.

Our natural gas system is governed by Federal regulations, which recommend that customers with natural gas lines buried from the meter to the primary structure maintain them. You should be aware that buried metallic pipe is susceptible to corrosion and leakage over time and should be inspected periodically. If a natural gas leak occurs, you may need to interrupt service temporarily until repairs are completed. If repairs are required, all costs associated with the maintenance and repair of the customer's or property owner's piping are the responsibility of the customer or property owner. Once the necessary repairs are complete, you may contact the Lobelville Gas Department to have service restored.

All customer-owned buried gas piping should be inspected periodically by a qualified contractor. If you need assistance in locating a qualified contractor, contact the Lobelville Gas Department at Public Works at 931-593-3728 or Dale Odom, Gas Superintendent, at 931-224-0305.

Household Trash

Everyone must have their household trash at the road in bags by 7:00 a.m. We will not pick up garbage strewn by dogs or loose trash in the can. The Sanitation Department will not collect trash other than household waste.

Please do not put any animal feces or cat litter in the trash. This has been a problem, and we will not address it. If it becomes a problem, we will discontinue trash pickup at that residence.

If you have any questions, please call City Hall at 931-593-2285.
