Led by three All State Tournament performances from Brody Lee, Kooper Haston, and Colby Smith, the Lobelville Hornets are this year's Tennessee Stqate Champions in middle school basketball. The team's coach, Jake Edwards, who just recently was named as the TN River Conference top coach, received Tennessee Coach of the year honors. This new cell phone policy applies to all schools in the Perry County District, including the Lobelville School:
Perry County Board of Education had implemented a cell phone policy for students that will go in affect starting January 17, 2023.

The Lobelville School supports Kindergarten and Grades 1 through 8. Beyond the 8th Grade, all students transfer to the Perry County High School in Linden.
