Started on July 18, 2009, the grass roots efforts of Hugh Waddell, Sandra and Robert Mathis, and many others from Lobelville, led to the first Buffalo River Music Fest. If it weren't for the very first event, the new amphitheater would not be in Lobelville, and we wouldn't be graced with outdoor entertainment.
From there, it was expanded to include Linden on alternate weekends, and here we are 15 years later with an annual summertime event that spans the summer and includes both towns with quality entertainment. So as they say, put on your dancing shoes and bring a lawn chair for you are about to hear some real toe tapping music.
